My performing voice is clean, American English with a natural resonance. I speak clearly, but can include a midwestern drawl if needed for your project.

I am able to supply a voice that fits most projects, such as a warm baratone for narrations, news anchor style for reporter-type pieces, happy and fun for commercials, characters for special projects, and professional for other presentations.

I can provide a variety of English accents, including American western; hillbilly/hick; northern/northeastern US; and foreign English accents such as British, Austrailian, Russian/Eastern European-English.

In addition to accents, I also provide a wide range of character voices from squeeky to snooty, surfer dude to deep and gravelly. Whatever your project needs, I can probably find a voice that's right for you.

My Voice Experience

I have over 13 years of continuous radio experience, two years with KCMG-AM/FM in Mountain Grove, Missouri and currently at KWFC-FM in Springfield, Missouri. These jobs have afforded me the opportunity to hone my vocal skills through regular on-air work, commercial production work, and news coverage. As KWFC's Program/Production Director, I know what it takes to create a winning production piece.

My Training

Training includes more than a dozen continuous years in radio, honing my skills with coaching along the way from my station P.D.s and G.M.s. Most of my vocal enhancement has occurred through personal observation and correction over the years.
