My Voice Experience

During my time at American Broadcasting School, I had the opportunity to write and produce over 40 commercials. I also have voiced a documentary about the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico as a school project, and an editorial about the US Constitution. I have written and produced commercials for tattoo shops, such as Skinsations, and City Ink in Oklahoma. I have done commercials for clubs, like Kush Hookah Lounge. I can do much more than just entertainment businesses, I have voiced spots for plumbing companies, hardware stores, and even fence companies! I have done a commercial for a Halloween attraction known as Scream Country. I am well trained to do voice over work, I have had a great education from professionals at American Broadcasting School.

My Training

I completed a 10 month course of study at American Broadcasting School in Oklahoma City. I now have a certification in Radio Broadcasting. I was trained by professionals Larry Gable and JC Kellison. At the school, I received at least 10 hours a week of voice-over training. This includes a once a week Vocal Coaching class. I learned all sorts of techniques for voice-over work. I learned how to better control my voice, and use it for many different projects. During my time at ABS, I wrote and produced more than 40 commercials! This includes :60 second commercials, :30 second commercials, :10 second popins, :15 second popins, of all different styles. Hardsell, Softsell, Institutional. I have written and produced musicals, using my guitar, keyboard, beat making software, and singing skills. I have had 5 years of guitar lessons, from experienced teachers, and also received 1 year of singing lessons.

My Studio Equipment

I have a very nice computer setup. My computer has an Intel Quad Core i7 processor, 6 GB of DDR3 RAM, and a Creative X-Fi Sound Card. I use a Line 6 UX2 recording interface. My microphone of choice is the Rode NT1-A condenser microphone. I use Cool Edit Pro as my recording/editing software. For music production, I use Ableton Live, and then Cool Edit Pro for more specific editing.

I also have an on-the-go rig. A Tascam DP-01FX/CD. It is what is called a "Portastudio." Basically an all-in-one recording studio. I can get excellent quality recordings with my DP-01 anywhere, without a computer. I can then upload the audio files to a computer, or burn them straight to cd from the DP-01's cd burner.

Additional Skills

I am an advanced user with Cool Edit Pro. I can offer you excellent productions if needed. Full library of music and sound effects at my disposal. I am a very creative copy-writer, and am willing to write copy for any project. I can produce musicals of nearly any kind/genre, using most basic types of instruments.
