Voice Description

My voice talent is not limited to a particular genre. For longer recordings or presentations, I can use a Natural Yet Professional Voice that comes across as an everyman. For shorter projects like commercial tags or on hold recordings, I can use a Traditional Announcer Voice. My love, though, is playing around with Character Voices--from grumpy old men to playful animals and children.

My Voice Experience

I would love to tell you here that I have years of experience in several genres. The truth is that I have just begun in the Voice Talent business.

While attending the University of Portland, I did have two radio shows. One discussing campus politics, the other playing alternative rock.

My Training

The training to be an actor came during my high school and college days. Having performed in over 15 full length plays, and countless shorter projects, acting is my life's passion. My voice over training has come from the guidance of an experienced Voice Artist. She has been in the business for many years and has provided my inspiration.

Additional Skills

I received a Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Education from the University of Portland in 1995, and intended to lead a High School Drama Department.

Unfortuately, severe tax cuts in the State of Oregon at the time cut that plan short.

For several years, I have built a successful career in "Corporate America," but was never really satisfied without a more creative outlet for my talent.

Now, I can only hope that I can help with your voice acting needs.
