About Kurt
I have a warm deep rich tone to my voice which suits voice overs for all mediums very well. I can do characterizations, accents; Southern, Valley Dude, Hick and slow or fast paced.
If you have a moment take a listen to my samples. I sound sincere, expressive, inviting, high spirited and a touch of wacky. I feel that my voice is comforting to the listener.
Some of my voice heroes are Joe Frank, Robert Siegel, Harry Shearer and of course, Don LaFontaine.

- Experience, training, and equipmentKurt has 40 years of radio announcing, radio theater, live theatre & digital audio production experience. He has produced award winning sound editing & mixing for APRN. His voice over work has been primarily for radio; commercials for products, identification for radio stations and announcing for several live functions ranging from weddings to corporate events to auctions. Since 1982, Kurt has recorded character and commercial voices for award winning programs for radio, podcasts and film production companies. Kurt is exceptionally good at learning and performing challenging copy under pressure. He is excellent at taking direction and working smoothly on self-directed projects. Kurt records in a home studio, with a dedicated DAW.
