My Voice Experience

I've lent my voice to a variety of student films and projects in Austin, TX, including a series of educational animation shorts dealing with environmental issues. It was recorded at the UT Sound Lab in Austin and used for local public schools in the area. I acted, as well as performed voice overs and sound effects, for a student-produced television sitcom entitled "The Night Nite Show" for Texas Student Television, an FCC-licensed station that broadcasts digitally to the entire Austin area. I just moved to Los Angeles after graduating college and I'm looking to use my voice to earn a living. What I lack in experience, I make up for with a very wide range of voices and characterizations.

My Training

- Bachelor of Science in Radio/Television/Film from The University of Texas at Austin

- Constant theater work on the side since high school including theater guilds, theater classes, etc.

- Specialized in Editing in college and learned a great deal about sound recording and design, as it relates to editing, of course

- Acted and performed voice overs for "The Night Nite Show", a student-produced sitcom for Texas Student Television, one of the only FCC-licensed college stations in the country

My Studio Equipment

Occasionally use personal Sennheiser Cardiod Microphone for recording when budget is an issue. Sound quality is good, but will never match a studio.

Additional Skills

I've been honing my acting skills for years and performing in TV, theater and in short films all throughout college, as well as improv comedy and the occasional stand-up gig. I've used my voice and the dozens of characters I can create with it to entertain people virtually my entire life, so it comes naturally. I'm patient, professional, and a very hard worker; and I'm confident in my ability to create and perform whatever the customer wants.
