Voice Description

For the Advertisting Show (example on site), the target audience was older professional men, therefore I kept a clear, concise and professional demeanor.

When doing more creative projects, my voice can vary from deep and intimate to loud and excited.

There is an air of transparency about my being that comes through my voice that many find refreshing and intriguing from producers to consumers. I bring a bit of this to each of my characters whether their persona is portrayed as positive or negative

My Voice Experience

I've worked in a production company that specializes in audio and video recordings.

I began doing voice over work in the fall of 2004 by doing a recording for an Advertising Agency based in Philadelphia.

Currently, I am a musician and I've done all of my own recordings in my home studio using a MacIntosh computer.

Philafunk Studios took me in as an audio intern in the fall of 2005. I was able to explore and grow a great deal.

It's only the fact that I'm hosting my own radio show twice a week that I'm re-opening myself to the world of voice over. I love the art form as well.

My Training

I studied communications at Penn State University from 1994-1996, even though, at the time, I had no plans of being the "talent" for any creative projects. It wasn't until 2002, when I moved to Seattle that I began to take music and art seriously. Prior to moving there, I hadn't even considered doing voice over work. I met an actor whom I worked with who opened me up to it.
