Voice Description

My voice has most often been described as warm, pleasant to listen to, and often puts people at ease. With narrations/audio books my voice can be clear and warm, but with the ability to vary tone to keep pace with various characters. For commercial work my voice can be fun, engaging, and sexy. For professional presentations and documentaries my voice can be calm and clear.

My Voice Experience

Thus far my voice over experience has included providing internet welcome messages and brief tutorials. I have also provided voice overs for stress reduction/progressive muscle relaxation audio CDs. Beyond these experiences, however, as a part time therapist and provider of community education my voice is one of my strongest tools as I have to communicate emotion and instruction through my voice. I would love the opportunity to expand my experiences and branch out in this field.

Bachelor's of science in counseling, with a minor in music

Doctor of Psychology Candidate (expected graduation date of 2010)

My Studio Equipment

I have access to a studio where I can record voice tracks, using SURE microphones or ZOOM H2 portable recorder and Mac audio editing software.

Additional Skills

As mentioned previously, my voice and ability to communicate has been essential to my skills as a therapist and educator. I believe this strength lends itself well to voice over services.
