My Voice Experience

Hi there! Thanks for checking out my profile. A sampling of my commercial voice over clients: Crisco, Vertex, Crest Spin Brush, Comet Gel Cleaner, Comcast, Liberty Travel, Windstream Media, a launch campaign for a new pharmaceutical, characters on radio spots for Phillycars and eDiets, and Steak 'n Shake. You can currently hear me on TV and radio plugging Peter Piper Pizza, Vitamin Shoppe, and Kaboom Color-Changing Bathroom Cleaner.

My narrations have included apps for Disney, corporate flash presentations, software product tours, internet ad campaigns, educational material for kids, ESL, on hold messaging, and employee training presentations (as narrator and as a "real person" character). Your kids can hear me as the narrator of the MitSo Media "Princess Collection" audiobook series. Also: narrated the documentaries "To Lead A Jewish Life" and "Visions of Iron."

This March you'll be able to hear me as Ann Marie Cunningham, the vindictive prison guard, in the hot videogame release Silent Hill: Downpour.

I also do on-camera commercials! You may have seen me stumping for Scottrade, Benjamin Moore Paint, Febreze, Steak 'n Shake, Geisinger Health Care, and a bunch of others.

My Training

General/acting education: BA in Liberal Arts from Sarah Lawrence College, including1 year studying at the British American Drama Academy in London; additional training from The Steinberg Meisner Studio and American Musical Theatre of San Jose.

Trained in voice over by Edge Studio (David Goldberg, Tom Filogomo, Paul Liberti) and producer Roy Yokelson.
Trained in audiobook narration by narrator Grover Gardner, producer Bruce Kitovich, and narrator/director Robin Miles.

Related Experience: I've been on stage since the age of 8! Member, AEA. You also might see me in the occasional commercial or industrial.

My Studio Equipment

My Studio: ProTools, AKG 414 mic, dbx 286A pre-amp. Able to deliver audio through an ftp site (mine or yours) or send files via e-mail. Files delivered as WAV, AIFF, or MP3 (default quality for files will be 44.1/24 for WAV, 164 bit for MP3; please specify if other file sizes are preferred). Conversion to other file types on request.

Want a phone patch or full mixing/production of your final spot? I partner with an NYC studio with ProTools, AKG and Neumann mics, phone patch, and a full library of music and sound effects. They can send files in any format.

Stage experience ranging from musical theater to Shakespeare to modern comedies to cabaret.

Also: I love doing narration for documentaries, e-learning and other instructional projects because I get to learn while I'm recording! I've always enjoyed delving into topics and gathering as much information as possible... If acting hadn't worked out for me, I'd probably be a history professor. Audiobooks are my favorite projects - you create entire worlds with your voice, and get to tell some great stories along the way.
