Voice Description

I can make my voice very soft and sexy or can be light and funny. I also can sound like a young child, cry like a newborn baby, make some animal noises(dog bark, both large breed and small, monkey, kitten, bird), and sing very well in many different styles. I can sometimes study a voice and match my voice to it fairly well. My voice is clear and easy to understand. I can do a British/English accent fairly well as well as a southern country accent.

My Voice Experience

I have often done different sounds for open mic nights. I have played many great practical jokes on people with my newborn baby cry. I have sung professionaly since I was 12 in weddings and now have my own music CD out in stores. I was told I have a great speaking voice be my speech professor in college and was accepted into a broadcasting school here in Michigan, but later changed my major.

My Training

I never really took very many classes to learn my talent. Some of it just came naturally when I was a kid just being goofy and trying to steal the spotlight. I have had professional piano lessons for many years and now teach piano and voice lessons myself. I took some public speaking and performing arts classes in college. AS well as a broadcasting class.

Additional Skills

I am a professional singer now for 13 years ( I started at 12). I have earned many awards in both piano and singing throught many various competitions: National Federation, Fall Classic, National Guild, State Federation, Warren Vivace) I also write and perform the theme song to the American Guild of Musicians Regional Competition for three years now. I have entertained with my voice sound effects at schools and parties over the years. I also hold a Bachelor's of Arts degree in Psychology from Oakland University in Michigan.
