British accents come most naturally in story telling, while time spent playing with French Canadian English, Irish,and Scottish mix into every day speech and often in rehersals during plays.

My Voice Experience

In 1989 I was engaged by a "voice over company" in Toronto,Canada to enlist in their school to be trained in voice over work. Unfortunately at that time, funds were diminished and I could not attend.
Presently my career in theatre is continuing and I've decided to expand my skills and envelope this communication skill as well.
In the last year I have played a Fortune 500 CEO named "Marnie Summers" in the musical "Menopositive the Musical" by JJ McColl. I have played "Nina"a police officer in Norm Fosters "Looking" and have just finished playing "May",a transplanted NYC woman running a B&B in Norm Fosters "The Affections of May". This May I'll be playing the part of "Clara" in another Norm Foster play called "Jenny's House of Joy". I play an uptight woman in the wild west.
I enjoy reading and bringing to life, story books for children and immitating voices whenever possible. I hope this helps.

Industry education includes acting training with Alan Jordan and Miriam Laurence both of Toronto, as well as the aforementioned plays in the previous screen.

I have had many jobs over the years which always add to my familiarity with subject matter. I've worked in the ski industry for 8 years, in the health field for 20 years and inbetween have done everything from workin gon golf courses, construction sites, life gurading, waiting table, harvested fruit to working in a fashion accessory store. So, however this applies to any voice over work, I hope it helps.
