Voice Description
My normal voice is somewhat high, with a slight midwestern US affect. Years of living in Virginia taught me the ability to use a non-regional southern drawl. Lowering my voice, I sound informed, intelligent, and authoritative for commercial or business work. I have a welcoming, warm tone for greeting and phone system voice work. For commercials, my friendly, kind tone reflects a young wife/mother. I can also do teenage girl and flirty, sexy voices.
I can read and speak Spanish, German, and Italian; though my accent is American, I am understandable by natives.

My Voice Experience
I was an actor in local (primarily musical) theatre for several years, hosted a radio show in college, recorded textbooks onto tape for the visually impaired, and have been the phone system voice for two of my employers.

Years of singing, including private lessons, have given me good vocal range and tone, but my training comes from acting work rather than classes.
