I recently did Cheech AND Chong for a tabacco place. Far out, man! My Christmas elves can't be beat! Concert spots are my specialty. I'll make your event sound larger than life. I've created spots for a number of South Texas dancehalls and rock clubs. Gigs like Asleep At The Wheel, Tesla, Kevin Fowler, The Bellamy Brothers, Blackfoot, Pat Green, Molly Hatchet, Bowling For Soup and David Allen Coe.

Since I'm pretty much an ordinary guy, I can do one of those very well. Need mellow, deep and caring? I'm there. Need some effects and energy for that club spot? No prob. Need an articulate kiddo in your spot? Got that, too!!

My Voice Experience

As soon as I was able to crawl up the stool that gave me access to Mom and Dad's record player, I was spinning 45s. I would entertain my Mom as she ironed clothes for customers. I started in a small town. With the help and belief of a few friends and my detirmination to succed at large maket radio, I made it to San Antonio in 87. I've been an on air personality, airborne traffic anchor, talk show host, and even tried sales for fun.

Now, my passion is to create things that pull listeners in, and make clients happy. Thousands hear my work every day, and I haven't heard any complaints. :)

My Training

I have a Bachelor's degree in Communications from Fort Hays State University in Hays, Ks. A beautiful town in western Kansas! The University had their own cable channel, and radio station. I hooked up with a few big market radio dudes at that time who told me I could do this for a living. Wow! Beats workin!

My Studio Equipment

My mic is an Electrovoice RE20, with a Symetrix 520E compressor/processor, board, speakers, computer, lamp, cats...

Additional Skills

I have an incredible attention to detail. Figures...my Mom was an RN for years, and a super diagnostician (sp?) like "House", just decades earlier. Dad was a plumber, electrician and carpenter, and during the WW2, a bomber gunner and airplane engine mechanic. I'll make your project sound first class pro!
