Voice Description
My voice has grown richer and more interesting/diversified with age and life experience.
I relish in playing the role of a temptress and am comfortable sounding deep and sexy both in English and in French as I am completely fluent.
My accent in it's normal state, is fairly neutral, bust since my parents are Caribbean, I can switch to West Indian dialects with ease. My roster of dialects include Trinidadian and Jamaican.
Most importantly, and of late, I have become more active in auditionning for voice jobs with children's networks, because I like to play with characters changing them from high pitched and silly to ditzy.
Perhaps a voice service that I have consistenly performed is that of the "professsional voice" as I have frequently been used to greet corporate clients over the telephone.

My Training
I stumbled into the world of voice over work at the age of eighteen when I joined the National Institiute of Broadcasting in Toronto.
I already knew I wanted to become an actor, and had managed to book a variety of jobs, but thought it a good idea to immerse myself into becoming well rounded by increasing my variety as a voice talent as well.
The NIB taught me diction, warmup exercises, radio broadcasting, and mainly, how not to pop my p's on the mike!

Additional Skills
Because I have worked in corporate america for a number of years as a customer service representative I am familiar with the "voice" typically used to close deals over the phone. As such, my voice has always been my tool.
Typically, I am called upon to record voicemail greetings and to come up with accents for voice mailboxes that don't really exist so as to make the company look larger.
I am skilled at mimicking accents.
