Voice Description

I have a perfect voice for commercials it's soft and warm. My voice is especially geared good for products geared for women, or romance or anything subtle. I have been told that I have a perfect voice for radio and that announcing work would be a great field for me. In fact I would be a great candidate for narrations, audio books, documentaries, greetings voice mail, animations, etc. I have a rich voice tone which is truly noticeable and distinguishable.

My Voice Experience

My experience in the field of voice over work is limited. I was responsible for a training film for the New York City Welfare Department. I was hired as an Orientation Specialist and my job was to give orientation to the clients entering the welfare program to explain to them what is expected of them while they are in the program. Since my manager thought I had a good voice and presence during the orientations, he decided to film me while I gave an orientation and thus show the film to new clients.

I also was a recording artist for an independent record label that I owned and provided most of the voice over and ad lib work for our artists. I had a remarkable voice for those projects.

My Training

I have taken several workshops and classes by different individuals that taught the basics of the voice over industry. I was also enrolled at a premier voice over training institute in New York City. My instructors all admired my voice and commented that I would do well in this industry. I have also taken acting workshop classes as a youth.

Additional Skills

I am a very good public speaker and I have done public speaking on many different occassions. I co founded a non profit organizations in Brooklyn, N.Y.. We were responsible for putting on forums and workshops for community residents. I have served as coordinator and presenter and many different public functions that called for me to use my public speaking abilities.

I am also a poet and I have performed my work at several spoken word events in and around New York City.
