Voice Description

My voice can be of an enigma. At times I sound like my father, sometimes I sound like my mother. Depending on my mood or the person I'm talking to I tend to use different accents.
If I'm being a particularly inquisitive sort, I sound like a Brit. If something has to be explained, a bit of Wisconsin pops out. If sarcasm is the name of the game, New York, New York. A forceful or angry mood gets a more gruff, intimidating tone of voice while it gets a bit higher in pitch when I see better days.
Of course, control is key.

My Training

Much like everything I do, I'm self-taught. Most of my education comes from free publications on the internet which alone had a lot more information than my local library. Vocal control has always been my main goal for me especially since I act as a vocalist on music projects and I also enjoy delivering spoken word on occasion. What's the point of being able to produce a voice without the discipline of keeping it constant?
