My Voice Experience

I'm new at this but voice over work is something I have always been drawn to. I've been a guest on a local market radio show, and have recently been a guest on several internet radio shows for my writing business to promote an ebook that I wrote. I have been told many times, including by the instructor of the voice over workshop I participated in and radio air personalities that I have a nice "radio voice". I agree and think I could do a great job as a voice over talent.

I am at a point in my life and career where it is important to my soul to seek out those things that bring me joy. Participating in a voice over workshop several years ago was one of the most thrilling experiences I have ever had, and something I have always wanted to continue pursuing but never did, until now.

For years fear held me back because I do not have the background of many seasoned voice over talent professionals, but what I do have is a personable voice and above all, a true passion for the work. I've learned from personal experience that in many instances pure, enthusiastic passion outweighs an impressive resume from someone who has lost all passion for the work and is strictly in it for the money.
