It is mostly warm and direct with emotive qualities without being over the top. My voice and style have been described as captivating, descriptive, and unique. I am able to read German proficiently - though I don't speak it fluently. I have also dabbled in accent work - with a very subtle British accent being my best so far.

My Voice Experience

I have 20 years of broadcast experience with most of it in radio news, sports, and DJ work. I am looking to expand my voice-over capabilities and would love to start doing some more free-lance work. I can do commericals, PSAs, professional presentations, on-hold messages, narrations for trade show product videos, and am willing to try documentaries and other voice-over parts.

My Training

I have a two-year diploma from SAIT in Calgary, AB in which I took acting and speech classes. I also have 20 years experience in using my voice in public settings - public address, etc - and in commercial radio.

My Studio Equipment

Desktop computer, Peavey mixer, Rode microphone

Additional Skills

I am completely self-sufficient with a home studio and do all of my own recording. I am completely computer-literate and consider myself to be a bit of a computer nerd. I am in the process of completing a B.A. and with that have a broad base of education and experiences. I can adapt and understand most commercial or documentary content.
