My Voice Experience
After appearing as the speaker for a consumer panel in 1982, I was asked to participate in several local radio commercials. I moved with my 'real' job, but contimued to be asked to narrate plays, be the announcer at various events, and mc game show activities for various groups. Invariably, the first comment I receive at all job fairs, career seminars, or from coaches is 'you should be in radio'. Therefore, I have embarked on a more serious 'voice' career.
My Training
Western Washington University - BS
Took debate classes while attending Western. I have received some training from professional and semi-professional singers generally thru choir participation. An activity for which I consider myself ill-suited, but for which they keep giving me personal, sometimes, pleading, invitations to participate.
