Voice Description

I come from a long line of characters and we have always been very expressive. In college I was dubbed "Rusty" since my voice is fairly crackly. I have been likened to Melissa Etheridge. I am able to sound Southern, British, old or young. I can speak slow or very quickly. I have very limited french but have the accent down pat. Voices and public speaking come very naturally to me.

My Voice Experience

I have had a great deal of public speaking experience from childhood on. I've made many speeches and presentations in the professional and social arenas and have done some voice mail recordings for friends. I was highly active in Toastmasters.

My Training

I have no real training other than in College & University and school plays. There are professionals in my family (actors and marketing /PR experts)who recommend I pursue this vocation.

Additional Skills

I am single and childless with a realiable vehicle which makes me very available. I was chosen from 2400 voice mails at my place of employment to do the "tree" in the message service. I am just looking for an opportunity to "break-in" to this industry and leave my current profession.
