My Voice Experience

I have been studying voice over for more than a decade, beginning in my hometown of Kansas City, and then moving to LA in 2002. I have studied commercials with Kalmenson & Kalmenson, and promos and trailers with Joyce Castellanos. I have also taken workshops and classes with various other coaches in Los Angeles. I keep fresh by attending 2-3 voice over workout groups per week.

I have been a musical-theater performer and on-camera actor most of my life. I love acting!

My Training

I earned my bachelor of journalism degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a focus in advertising. Writing copy has assisted in interpreting copy in my reads.

I have also worked in television production for the past 8 years, which gives me great insight into the entertainment industry.

My Studio Equipment

I have a home-studio which is perfect for audition purposes, and access to several other studios for on-air quality recordings.

I use Twisted Wave audio editing software on a Macintosh G4, connected to my mic with MicPort Pro. I own an MXL 990 microphone and also have a Sennheiser 416T available for my personal use.

Additional Skills

I am a talented writer, solid actor and responsible adult. I am always on-time and very easy to work with.
