My Voice Experience
Many moons ago before the dawn of the ice age, a conversation took place that would change the course of my life forever. When filling out job title descriptions for the company employee phone list, I put down board operator as that was what I was originally hired to do and wasn't offered any other offical title in the 2 years since. When questioned about my humility, I jokingly replied "well I thought production goddess might be considered arrogant". Since then I have had the nickname and feel as if I strive to live up to it!
My Training
I think high school drama started it all for me. After high school, I went to broadcasting school back in the early 90's. Graduated valedictorian and honor roll. I went to work for a local radio station and a year later quit for better pay. As the radio bug does, it reared it's head 7 years later and I applied for an entry level board operator position, got it and moved back into the production and on air world again. I've been here for 7+ years. I work small market radio because of the flexibility if offers. Someday I will make the big jump but for now being a big fish in a small pond, works for me. I have big market expectations which clearly shines through in my work.

Additional Skills
As well as production, I am also the public affairs director which affords me the opportunity to work with local non profit agency's on marketing their events. I write copy for all of our local Public Service Announcement and produce most of them. And if that wasn't enough to keep me busy, I assist in writing and producing liners, ID's and positioners for each of our 4 radio stations.
