My Voice Experience
Kimberly has been a radio/television personality within the San Diego market for the past 15 years, from 1994-present, as an entertainment, airborne traffic, and lifestyle reporter with NBC 7/39 (KNSD-TV), Clear Channel Radio as a traffic reporter, on KPBS-TV Public Broadcasting as a live pledge host for various PBS television exclusives, and worked briefly for KFMB-TV/CBS as a weekend Weather Anchor.
King has also recorded several corporate videos and has been a professional emcee for numerous not-for-profit organizations within San Diego.

My Training
Kimberly attended the High School of Creative & Performing Arts (SCPA) (years ago!) with an emphasis in Musical Theatre and Advanced Vocal Music. She grew up on the stages of SCPA, San Diego Jr.Theatre, and The Lawrence Welk Resort Theatre (Equity).
King attended United States Int'l University/School of Performing & Visual Arts (SPVA) on a Musical Theatre Scholarship in the late 80's, and transferred to San Diego State University (SDSU) where she earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Speech Communication.

Kimberly is an avid supporter of several non-profits, including United Cerebral Palsy, Children's Hospital, Special Olympics, San Diego Police Department, CA Department of Justice, San Diego Fire/Rescue, and The Burn Institute of San Diego.
King enjoys what San Diego has to offer and can be found out and about with her family, (husband & two children), at The Padres games, Chargers games, San Diego Symphony, Broadway San Diego shows, The Old Globe, and The La Jolla Playhouse productions, to name a few.
She is a huge fan of aviation, and has earned about 1200 airborne hours in a BellJet Ranger while reporting/shooting for NBC 7/39 as a Traffic/Breaking News reporter/photographer. King was previously employed by USAirways (1988-1999) where she was able to fly all around the world.
King also loves photography and baking, and someday hopes to become the next "Mrs.Fields" with her famous "Kowboy Kookies."
