Hello, I would describe my voice as professional and pleasant. I am very good at voicemail greetings and answering telephones. I have also been told that I am a captivating reader...especially to children. I have 4 little ones and I not only read to them, but at their school as well. The teachers have repeatidly told me they enjoy my reading and it holds the children's attention (adults too). I always read or speak with a smile in my voice.

My Voice Experience

I have worked in customer service all my life! My telephone voice has always been one of my strong points. I worked as a reservationist for a major hotel chain, and currently as a Switchboard Operator/Finance Assistant at a local community college. I also volunteer for a non-profit zoo in my hometown...I do mostly office work for them which includes taking and returning telephone messages as well as recording the greeting message for our telephone. I also am deeply involved at Winifred Road Church of Christ, in Cumberland, MD. Last year we did a Vacation Bible School titled Trading Places...we traveled to different countries each night on our very own "airplane". I was the announcer/stewardess each night and everyone commented how "real" I sounded.

I realize that I am quite new at this and the main reason I have decided to pursue this opportunity is to be at home more with my children. I hope that you will take the chance and consider me. I am very detail oriented as well as a bit of a perfectionist with most things. I have worked in retail management for most of my life and I have been at the college for the past 10 years.
