I have pretended to be other ethnicities as practical phone jokes in the past, and actually was able to pull it off. I have pretended to be African American, Asian, Middle Eastern, REALLY southern, as most people do not realize I am a native born Texan as I hide my dialect very well.

My Voice Experience

I have never done any kind of professional voice over before, however, I get compliments on my voice and have for years as I have always done phone work of some kind. I am articulate and well read, so I am good with pronunciation and enunciation of words. I have had many men try to hit on me because of my voice, I've had women tell me I am friendly and comforting, that my voice is calming and soothing. I've had others tell me at times that I sound fun and lively and very cheerful.

My Training

I took a course in Radio and TV through my High School during the 80's and actually did work with Storer Cable, amateur radio spots and our small band school radio stations programs.

I have done telemarketing, experience in high school with radio and tv, phone customer service for major financial institutions and have always been rated well on my voice tone, demeanor, etc... I have NO doubt that I could do this.
