I am a Master Degreed singer, actor writer and director, who taught theatre in West Africa for 6 years and currently do a one woman show where I play a west African Griot. I have done commercials as a Caribbean islander, an elementary school girl, a mom, a middle aged sorority diva, and a southern dingbat, etc. I have also done British, New York Island, African and Texan accents.


I am the voice for numerous business telephone answering system in various parts of the country. I have produced, voiced and directed audio books--I have all 11 chapters of my original audiobook, "The Special Something" --a full hour--in the voice of a west african storyteller on my website

My Voice Experience

I am a master degreed international performer with a 3.5 octave singing voice. I am a former member of SAG / AFTRA and have worked and performed in 17 countries on the American, European and African continents. I speak standard North American english with a warm, friendly, cherry attitude. I have been the voice of Houston Metro Commercials, The Woodland Corporations, a few banks, a beauty school, and am the voicemail for numerous professional business persons.

My Training

BFA in Drama, M.Ed with a specialization in Theatre. I have read the news as an on-air anchor, done theatrical and musical shows and commericals requiring all sorts of characters of various races and stages of life.

I taught school as a Peace Corps volunteer in West Africa and had to learn their dialect of English just so the students could understand me. I have written and directed over 20 plays for competition, some of which have been performed on television--a few of which are marketed as audio books. My Studio Equipment

As a singer, actor writer and director, I have spent a lot of time in the studio--doing commercials and, most recently original music and cover tunes. I know have the capability of creating broadcast quality digital recordings in my studio. Equipment includes several Macintosh computers, a Mackie Mixer, Roland Amps, high end wireless (AudioTechnica) and handheld microphones and recording programs such as Sound Studio, Garageband, Audacity, for delivery as AIFF, AAC, Wave Mp3 or lessloss formats to the client. I am webmaster for several performing musicians and actors and artists and also have the capability to upload audio to webpages or email them to clients as needed. Check out the video work at

Additional Skills

I am positive, fair and (so I have been told by hundreds of clients) very easy to work with. I like people and it shows. I like working with people who know what they do and who do it well. If a client is not sure EXACTLY what he/she wants, I have the ability to extrapolate from what little data they can supply and help them discover their desires. I am self sufficient, having all the right equipment in-house to make almose any project come to life for one turn-key price. Because I am also a booking agent with over 30 artists at my disposal, from Bach to Basie, I offer access to live musicians and other resources that less experienced talent may not have. In conclusion, I can honestly say that I make projects fun and efficient because I love what I do and do it well.
