My Voice Experience

As a director of films and videos, as well as a producer of video games, I have developed a very good idea of what works in the field of voice-over. Many of my colleagues have complemented my voice over the years, and so now I have decided to allow this asset to be used for a wide range of projects.

My Training

I am doctoral candidate in Film Studies at UC Berkeley, and I have directed and shot several narrative fiction and documentary films in which my skills in voice-over direction came in very handy. I have trained my musical ear through singing and playing the cello. As a producer of video games, I worked intensively with voice-over talent and sound editors to produce with great precision the character- and situation-based voices. Everyone always compliments me on my interesting voice, so I have decided apply my directing skills to own instrument!

My Studio Equipment

I have Final Cut Studio as well as Adobe Creative Suite and a fast Quad Core Mac Pro. I have found that Soundbooth is a good program for recording, sound editing and sound sweetening. I have an Audio Technics mic as well as video production equipment for field recordings.

Additional Skills

I am a very deeply and broadly education film artist and scholar with one foot in the academy and another foot in underground, avant-garde and popular culture. I grew up in a multi-ethnic community so I have a sense of many different cultures, and I have traveled extensively in Europe and the Caribbean. I have lived for a time in Copenhagen and Rome.
