I currently read headline news on-air for Pacifica radio station WPFW 89.3 in Washington DC.
I am a stage performer and vocalist, hired for studio work for various studio projects. I've done hooks for rappers, backing vocals for recording artists and lead vocals for instrumentalists.
I have narrated for video trailers, including the book trailer for the anthology Liberated Muse Volume I: How I Freed My Soul (Outskirts Press, 2009).
I am the spokesperson for the Capital Hip Hop Soul Fest, interviewed by local and national press.

Khadijah Moon Ali-Coleman is a journalist, photographer, educator, literary artist and performer. An arts advocate, Moon facilitates workshops for educators on best practices in applying the arts when implementing curriculum for traditional disciplines such as reading, math, science and history. She has presented nationally at conferences, events and festivals, including the International Soul Music Summit, Mosaic Literary Conference, and the Pedagogy and Theatre of the Oppressed conference.
Moons photography and journalistic work has appeared in the Washington Post, The Afro, The Washington Informer, and other print mediums.
