Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects
Accents I am proficient performing include Irish, Scottish, Australian, German, East Indian, the "big tall Texan", New Yorker, extreme north eastern states, the southern sophisticate, redneck, British voices from street vendor to the upper class, the elderly Jewish man, and most of the Caribbean Island accents.
My Voice Experience
I come from a long history of acting and vocal characterizations in my education and performance of operas in various venues, as well as civic drama, musicals including Grease, The Music Man, and Working(Studs Terkel), and perfomances of several works of Shakespear.
My Training
I was double majoring in drama and vocal performance with a focus on classical opera for 2 years at Coker College in South Carolina then transferred to the University of Central Florida to study opera with Louis Roney.
My Studio Equipment
I am using a shock mounted Samson C01 condenser mic into a PreSonus 2 channel pre-amp to my computer using Sonar LE for editing.
Additional Skills
I have worked in several venues that required public speaking and drama such as being a skipper at the Jungle Cruise at Walt Disney World, working as a music pastor for 6 years at my last church, and presenting to groups of people as a commercial real estate agent.
