My Voice Experience

at this present time i am an overnight jazz announcer at kdhx, a community radio station located in st. louis, missouri. i voice a number of the stations public service announcements. some call me the voice of the station. in the past ive voiced commercials for a supermarket chain in kirkwood, missouri and one for a retirement home called the charless home. about three years ago i acted and did the narration for an industrial flim entitled reach for your goals produced by the edward jones company. in april of this year i completed the task of performing three character voices. the three voices were for a knee pad, a hockey puck, and a referees shirt. in this same project a portrayed a carnival owener. the film was produced by the university of missouri and it was called space scouts. sbc horizon had me provide the voice of a character named edward for an in house industrial film they produced. about three weeks ago kdhx put together a public service announcement convincing teenagers to be careful about sexually transmitted diseases. i was the voice for that spot.

i study acting at h and h studios in mapelwood, missouri. i have received voice over coaching from suzy wahl and i studied radio at the broadcast center in clayton, missouir. as i stated earlier i am currently an overnight jazz announcer at kdhx.
