Voice Description

My natural speaking voice is deep, in the bass range. I can modulate to be warm and smooth, or to be sepulchral. While my depth can be soothing as a radio announcer, I can also make it sinister or melodramatic. I was born in the Midwest and live in the Northeast, but my voice does not have a strong accent from either area unless I want it to. I have a decent singing voice in the bass-baritone range.

My Voice Experience

I have recorded books-on-CD for learning-disabled students at the New England Institute of Art and Communication.
I recorded a presentation for a corporate internship program that was viewed company-wide at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts.

My Training

I learned about creating commercials at the New England Institute of Art and Communication. I also took voice lessons at UMass/Boston for 2 years.
I have an Associates Degree in Audio Engineering (from NEIAC 2002) and most of a Bachelor's in Music Performance (UMass/Boston).
