My Voice Experience

I recently graduated college where I got most of my experience in voice over work. I did a weekly podcast for Virginia Tech called the HokieCast, and I provided VO for sports commercials and other packages produced by the VT athletics department. I also had a spot in the 2007 Virginia Tech halftime commercial that advertises what the school has to offer, which is the commercial aired during halftime on TV during our football games and basketball games.

My Training

I graduated with a degree in Business Information Technology, but I've always done communications work on the side. I administer website for a Virginia Tech student organization called Planet Blacksburg which gives students the opportunity to have their work published. I volunteered at the campus's student-run TV station, VTTV, and I also worked for the Virginia Tech athletics video department where I shot video and edited together entire shows that aired on ESPN and Comcast Sportsnet. I helped provide live video feeds of press conferences and administered the production of live interviews for ESPN and CSN.
