I've successfully pulled off a number of character voices and accents for recorded puppet shows and on-stage productions. I can easily jump from one character voice to the next in a dialogue. My French is fluent and my German is serviceable.

British, Cockney, Irish, Scottish, South African, New York, Old South Money, Redneck, Trailer Trash, Midwestern, American, Canadian eh, French-, German- or Spanish-or India-Pakistani-accented English.

My French accent is spot on but I can twang it up for that American in Paris effect. When I speak German, I sound like an American (though some have said Swiss)speaking German regardless.

My Voice Experience

I've performed on-stage and off. Voiceover work consists primarily of puppet show recordings and backstage effects. I love to read aloud and my individual characters from a reading have individual personalities.

My Training

I have a French degree and have taught French, English and English as Second Language to adults and children. I'm constantly working with people of various language backgrounds and am quick to pick up on their accents.

Theaterwise I've performed on stage for the past ten years in regional productions. I've also done voiceover work for the local public library for a number of children-related projects.

My Studio Equipment

I have a buddy with a sound booth in which I can successfully lay down tracks in exchange for a few beers. For larger projects I could possibly beg a friend at Turner Broadcasting to let me in after hours. In addition I can easily put stuff into something like Garageband or Audacity and send it over the innerwebs.

Additional Skills

I've seen enough training videos to know I can do twice as good a job as most of the voices I hear on them. I also have an education background and a passion for travel so I may come across as more knowledgeable when it comes to those genres. With a degree in French, I can successfully spell and pronounce genre.
