I can mimic Walter Kronkite, Richard Nixon and Dan Rather; my range of recognizable characters includes a Mafia fixer from Joisy, a (female) Southern Belle, a Gypsy Granny, a Hippy-Dippy Dewd, a Snake-Oil Huckster, a 49'er Coot and Sam Synseer.
I also have several comic, extremely exaggerated voices on-palette.
English is my native language, Korean my second and Thai my third.

My Voice Experience
Recordings include a 70-minute ESL tape with song, spoken material and spoken Thai; Voice-over for a corporate sales-pitch; recordings of comic material written by IowaHawk and others; factual readings of essays by Fjordman; and recently a series of 75-second spots for voicemail direct-response emails (Dread Pirate, Gypsy Granny, Zombie, Kuralt, Hippy Dewd, Mafia Fixer, Doctor Black and Southern Belle, among others)

Briefly? In the FIELD. Doing it, recording voice-over in Korean in Korea; Thai and English in Thailand, and now focusing on English voice over talent on the Internet.
I began my linguistic studies TEACHING KOREAN at the US Defense Language Institute. I've been singing in several languages for 30 years since.

Additional Skills
I am a copywriter by trade, and want clients to get the most responsive BANG for their BUCK! If you want the script read AS IS, fine! I'll give it some ear-catching power!
But if there's a better reading by changing one word or so, I hope you'll give my (free) recording of THAT one, a listen!
If Client needs a voice I haven't heard yet, I may very well be able to mimic it within a few days, IF we have an MP3 or two to download for my study.
(I taught myself Thai and Korean using this 'mimic' skill extensively.)
Two of my screenplays are currently being considered for production (about an Italian/Thai artist; about a German survivor of the Fall of Berlin).
