My Voice Experience
I am equally comfortable doing a commercial read, an animation piece or an on-hold system series. Having experience both in front of and behind the microphone I have a versatility that often allows me to deliver even more than expected.
My Training
After completing a music arts education I launched into graphic arts... (go figure) which led me to cross paths with many of the ad agencies in town. After working with them on graphic projects I eventually got my foot in the door doing voice over work, particularly character reads. I eventually got a desk at a production house that allowed me to hone my skills both in front of and behind the microphone. Years later I continue to offer a broad set of character reads as well as a friendly tenor straight read.
My Studio Equipment
My primary microphone is an AKG C-3000 used in conjunction with the Antares Microphone Modeler. This allows me to simulate almost any microphone in existence. I also have access to a Sennheiser MKH416 but generally prefer the AKG.
For commercial audio production I use Pro Tools and an MBox2 as an interface. I also have Digital Performer and a MOTU Traveler that serves equally as well, particularly for multi-track recording. I also compose and do remixing using Ableton Live, Native Instruments Komplete 5 and an Access Virus TI POLAR.
Additional Skills
I have acquired a broad skill set in media production. Everything from audio to video, print to web, motion graphics to 3D and everything in between. Media production is truly in my blood and experience in all aspects gives me a thorough perspective that can truly enhance your project.
