Voice Description

I have a deep voice, though not too deep, and can change accents on a dime. I do some impersonations and I am able to ennunciate clearly and make myself heard. My voice is soothing and clean. I can do a pretty good announcer's voice for commerical work as well as character voices for other types of voice work.

My Voice Experience

Most of my experience came in the mid-1990's when I worked for AM Talk 650 KSTE in Sacramento. I did some on mic work for skits as Intern Boy and a couple of phony interviews including a very successful one as Jack Nicholson. In my current profession I've been given to reading customer service announcements over the intercom at the local grocery store at which I work. It may not sound like much, but if you've heard the vocal quality of those paging systems, you know how important it is to speak very clearly.

My Training

I have a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism including a successful stint in a speech class. I worked in radio for almost 3 years where I learned how to do voice over work for a movie review program I also wrote. I hold a job in the grocery industry currently where I speak to several different people during the day, so my communication skills remain up to par.
