My Voice Experience

It all started many many years ago in a small town far far away (ok, maybe not that far).

I was an on-air talent around texas from 1976 until 1991. Most of the stations have been bought, sold, and reformated, but here's a quick summary:

KAND - Corsicana (All shifts, news)
WACO-AM, Waco (7PM-Mid Top 40)
KRIG, Odessa (6-10PM, Top 40)
KHOO, Waco (7PM-Mid, Rock)
KIXS, Killeen (7PM-Mid, Engineering, AOR)
KLFX, Killeen (AM Drive, PM Drive, Adult Rock)
KTEM/KPLE Temple (Weekend swing, Engineering)

In addition radio spots, I supplied some character voices for the morning shows (Elmer Fudd being most requested). Cheech and Chong came up quite a bit too.

After being away from the biz for 10 years, I've recently started doing voiceoevers for National Instruments here in Austin. These are used for product demonstartions on the web as well as kiosks at trade shows.

Additional Skills

I have a technical background (broadcast engineering, hardware research and development). So, technical scripts are a natural for me.

A few times a month you'll find me on stage here in Austin fronting a noisy little rock-n-roll band. That keeps my "...are you people ready to party" thing in shape;)
