Voice Description

I have a very diverse singing voice with a broad range. I am capable of very high, more feminine vocals and very deep and rough vocals with a lot of personality. I am also comfortable with a variety of speaking voices and accents. I am especialy proficient at voicing more fantastic characters for cartoons and games. I shine most in delivering believable, sinister voices for villains and synical, snide or tongue in cheek humor.

My Voice Experience

I started recording my own voice at a very early age. My Father had filled the basement of our house with a mess of recording equipment some time before I was born. He used it constantly, always talking about how much he regreted not pursuing a recording carreer. I helped him make songs and started recording my own voice, writing short skits and recording all the voices myself. This continued through my whole childhood and I have been singing in bands since highschool. Since then I have had professional vocal training by Dina Michael Sage (Oresha Foundation/Manhattan Transfer) and played many shows in my local area. I have recorded on two albums for High Mountain Records (Park City Utah) and frequent local open mic nights. I have a great deal of confidence in my ability as a voice actor as well, inexperienced in the profesional world though I may be. Give me a listen, I think you'll find something unique and interesting.

My Training

Training started at childhood. I went to a private grade school with a very intense chorus program and was coached by my father for years. I have also worked as an actor in student films at Park City Highschool, where I learned the rudiments of voice over recording in the Television Productions program. I have since taken private voice lessons from Dina Michael Sage (Manhatten Transfer).

Additional Skills

Firstly, I am extremely passionate about starting my carreer and using the skills I have spent some much time developing. I think you will find me surprisingly comfortable with my voice and with recording in general. I am no stranger to the studio environment. I have been working as the business manager for a local sound studio (High Mountain Productions and Studio) for the last year and a half. Here I have spent a great deal of time in the studio with a variety of people and have worked well on both sides of the microphone.
