Voice Description

My voice can be interpreted in a couple of different ways. I can sound sultry for adult content, but a similar sound can be used for commercials for spas or anything that needs a calm soothing sound. I can be matter of fact for documentaries or phone machines, but still sound confident and purposeful for professional work. I can sound excited and fun for kids TV as well.

Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

My accent is a Northern US accent, think Mid-West, but not Fargo. I have also lived in CO so I can lend my voice to a more "twangy" sound. By living in both places for a good portion of my life I feel my accent isn't hard for either dialect.

My Voice Experience

I am currently new to voice overs. I do not have experience to note at this time but look forward to doing so. I really enjoy a new challenge and have an amazing work ethic. I can take criticism and will work at something until it's right.

My Training

As previously mentioned I am new to voice overs. I'm currently looking into classes and seminars that are in my area and online.

My Studio Equipment

My equipment is at another location other than my home. I am not knowledgeable in this area and therefore have someone else record my tracks. At this time I am concentrating on improving and selling my voice, but in the future will be more involved in the background work that goes into recording. I like to be involved in all the aspects of the recording but feel it's best to focus on one thing at a time.

Additional Skills

As this is new to me, my skills related to voice overs is null. However, I have worked extensively as a customer service rep and a project manager for a software company. I have some knowledge of computer hardware support from my time at IBM, and also software knowledge from a software company.
