My Voice Experience

The voice that does the announcements for the 4077th on MASH was my inspiration. I do broadcast voicemails for World Savings at the San Antonio campus. From John Wayne imitations, Rawhide and Blue Christmas renditions, Arnold Swarzenegger bits, we have turned a boring information transfer to a fun and morale lifting campus favorite. I've played a Radio Newsman in two productions of "I'll Be home for Christmas" a Christian play for my church.

My Training

No training, just a mimic and speaker who has developed a sense of rhythm, timing and speech over the years. I have an ear for language, pronunciation and speech. I did some radio work in college at Texas A&M University promoting school events. A friend with voice over training recommended that I look at the industry.

I have been an Army Officer, Insurance Industry Safety Consultant and am currently in the banking industry working in Human Resources. I understand the need to prepare and be efficient. I enjoy entertaining people with humor, storytelling and sharing with them what I hear. Whether relating a humorous bit or getting a tear with the emotion of a story that captures your heart, voice is a medium I enjoy immensely.
