I have spent about four years in the radio world, working on various formats, from active rock to jazz to country. Currently, I do the traffic reports at WFLA-TV, the NBC affiliate in Tampa, FL. I can edit and voice whatever you want. Companies I have voiced for include Coca-Cola, DietSolutions.com, Lufthansa, New Scooters 4 Less, Blue Bell, and much more.
I have a BS in Telecommunications from the University of Florida (GO GATORS!) and an AA from Saint Petersburg College in Mass Communications. My initial voice training came from Mike Serio during an internship with WQYK-FM in Tampa, FL. This man taught me about understanding your audience, inflection, and using your diaphragm. While at the University of Florida, I began voice training with Jon Ruhff, a self-taught jingle and all around creative being. He helped me find my inner voices. Currently, I take voice direction from my production director, Beecher at WQYK-FM in Saint Petersburg. I read aloud everyday, voice on-hold messages for a living, and am always pushing to get better, be better, and surround myself with similar people.
I have access to a state of the art, digital studio and access to Protools, Adobe Audition, Cool Edit Pro, and Garage Band. I am very versatile; traffic and news reporting, to on-hold messages, to commercials, to voices, to on-air announcing. I love a challenge and I always produce.
