Voice Description

I have a classically trained Mezzo-Soprano voice. I have the ability to sing with a lot of power or more softly with expression. I sing with many styles such as Opera, Jazz, Gospel, and Pop.
My speaking voice is soft and more on the deeper side. I have the ablility to change the timbre of my voice to make it sound slightly younger.

My Voice Experience

Professional Singer / Nichols Sisters Trio 1995 -Present

Perform with my two sisters, Kim and Krissy at Catholic Charities events, Campus Crusades, weddings, church services and retreats, and many functions all over Maryland. We have had the opportunity to sing the National Anthem at Oriole Park on two occasions and were featured on the cover of the Western Maryland College Magazine “The Hill” in the fall of 1998.

Private Voice Teacher 2004 – Present

I have students ranging is age from 10 to 62. My goal is to meet each student where he or she is vocally and help them achieve their goals in a positive learning environment. I choose musical pieces that constantly challenge so each student is always growing and developing their talent.

Musical Director / Triple Threat Theatre 2005 - Present

I teach vocal workshops which are divided into three separate age groups of 6-8, 8-12, and 12 and up. I work on vocal technique and teach pieces with multiple voice parts. I am also the musical director Christmas programs.

My Training

It is my privilege to share my experience as a jazz, classical and gospel soloist. I have also participated in madrigals, choir, and many other musical groups throughout my career. I have been singing professionally for 10 years and currently lead music at Island Alliance Church in Stevensville as well as Grace Fellowship Chapel in Westminster.
