Voice Description
I can do various voices, but my normal voice is the sweet, caring, but confident and intelligent young female.
Imagine hypnotizing and melodic for certain commercials, but upbeat, confident, and best-friend-believable for others.
Perfect English and professionalism are my specialties for presentations.
Ask me to do an impression, I can probably do it. My favorite is the voice that sounds like the creepy girl from "The Grudge"/Anna Faris in "The House Bunny."

My Voice Experience
Most of my work has been for educational apps for children. My "big sister," friendly, upbeat tone works very well for these. I also recently provided a more serious teen voice over for an Anheuser-Busch radio PSA about the prevention of drunk driving. I have acted in various short films and commercials as well, and I know my acting experience contributes to the ability to control my voice and take direction well. I received an Acting Award from the NYU Tisch School of the Arts for my performance in a short film entitled, 'The Elephant Garden,' which won the Student Visionary Award at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2008. I stay in practice by auditioning very often for roles on camera, as well as for voice over roles.
My Training
-I will have a B.F.A. in Film Production and a minor in Business Administration from Chapman University (Orange, CA) when I graduate in 2014. I took an audio design course at my college recently, in addition to other film-related courses, including Directing and Editing.
-I took an ADR workshop in Los Angeles with Lynnanne Zager.
-I have been playing piano and taking piano lessons for almost ten years.
My Studio Equipment
I own the Blue Microphones Snowball, as well as Mac and Windows platforms to record onto. I use Audacity (and sometimes GarageBand) and can do minor post-production editing, if necessary.
Additional Skills
I understand many of the in-and-outs of the film industry, and this is only beneficial toward the quick, effortless completion of a voice over production. I have been acting for most of my life, and I know my acting skills translate well through my voice.
I am also studying the production of film from behind the camera at Chapman University, which has greatly expanded my knowledge of the entirety of the filmmaking process, in general. I have been on multiple sets as an actor, but also as a second assistant director, a sound mixer, and production designer.
These experiences shape me as an artist every day, and I enjoy them more than enough to know that my career will eventually be based in this amazing industry of film/TV entertainment!
