My Voice Experience

I have always been an eclectic person, and my voice is no exception that rule I've lived by. Using my vocal talent was suggested to me when I was 10; I became a vocal performance talent to work my way through college -- I worked as a voice talent for several radio commercials, voice recordings (greetings, on hold messages, etc.), and narrated videos for a variety of educational and corporate programs.

My Training

I've had a variety of experiences that helped me grow my talent. When I was in college, I entered as a vocal performance major and took several acting and diction courses. I earned my degree in English, howver, which has been GREAT for helping with pronunciations! I'm also a classical & jazz musician -- this has helped me develop my breathing. Last but not least, I've performed in several dinner theatres, enabling me to keep my projection and focus strong.

Additional Skills

I also sing and play several wind instruments, including the flute, glass flute (similar to an Irish flute), and alto sax. I am an excellent sight reader both with music and scripts.

My English education has enabled me to learn unusual pronunciations quickly and my years as a musician have enabled me to perfect my breathing techniques.
