Although I do not have an accent per se, I am orginally from New Jersey, so I can mimic that dialect very well. Imitating the typical New York City resident is also very easy for me.

My Voice Experience

My voice is my oral signature. People have told me that they remembered my voice, or that it calmed them. Some have said it is unique. Many have encouraged me to use it in a professional capacity, which is why I am here.

With this voice, I have read novels professionally, made an appearance on a cooking show, teach seminars,worked for a chat line and performed as an emcee for modeling shows.

"Seasoned" is not the word I would use to describe my talent in voice, I like to say that I am still "marinating", and learning as much as I can about this business.

I am a published author, very much a people person, and I have been told that I have great camera prescense.

Two years ago, I was offered a job with a national home shopping channel as an on air spokesperson, but had to turn it down due to an unexpected surgery and long recovery time.

Recently, I was named a semi-finalist in the Dallas Top Home Chef contest, and I compete in the finals tomorrow. I am a "Foodie", and teach cooking seminars and work with event planners and destination management companies in the DFW area.
