Voice Description

My voice... it's like talking to your best friend. If you are looking for deep "voice of god" kind of stuff.. that's not me. I'd be more like his smart-ass sidekick angel or something. My narration can sound familiar and warm, to quirky and offbeat. I handle technical narration well with an ability to phrase it to be understood. I also deliver descriptive text and poetry quite well.

I am a native English speaker and as a professional dialect coach am capable of reproducing authentic sounding dialects of: Std British (RP), Cockney, North Country UK, Scottish regions, Irish (Belfast and southern), French, Italian, German, S. African, Australian, Pakistani, and Japanese.

Character? You name it, I can find a voice for it. As for celebrities, Sean Connery, Katherine Hepburn, a few others I can't think of at the moment.

My Voice Experience

I have recorded voiceovers for McDonald's, CoreComm, Bonanza, Ponderosa, Grand Victoria Casino, Giant Food Stores, hospitals, power companies, Chinese Restaurants, Irish Restaurants, Good Restaurants, restaurants I can't imagine being good, on and on and on. I was also narrator for Golf the World on the Travel Channel and character voices for a number of children's cartoons in the "Spunky's Adventures" series.

Here's the deal. I am a versatile and experienced voiceover talent who works regularly but not regularly enough for me. That's why I am here. If we book a session I can get you in and out quickly and do a bang up job. What more could you ask for?

My Training

I have been a film, tv, and voiceover artist for fifteen years. I studied at VA Tech and at the Leningrad State Institute of Theatre, Music, and Film. My voiceover training began doing the off camera VO for commercials in which I was also on-camera host and also for military/industrial projects

Additional Skills

I teach film acting and voiceover technique at my private studio in VA Beach: The Actors' Place, Inc. I also coach corporate executives in speech and diction to improve their presentation skills. My film career covers feature films, miniseries, prime time series, and made for tv movies. I have a TV movie appearing on ABC on April 2, 2006 called "Hello Sister, Goodbye Life" and another fof CBS due for release shortly called "Heartless."

While I am perfectly comfortable with straight reads, I love spots that are fun, quirky, unusual, and give me a chance to try some new stuff.
