Voice Description

A wide and flexible range of styles from warm, honest, and sincere deliveries for funeral homes and hospitals, to cynical, obnoxious, rock 'n' roll humorous deliveries for car dealerships and video game stores.
The only cartoon voice I am dead-on and confident about is Hank Hill from "King of the Hill".
Other voices are characters I create from scratch or in my head to fit the commercial's premise: rabbits for Easter commercials, Santa and reindeer for Christmas, people on the street you know immediately, etc.
The 2-minute voice demo to the right is a quick sketch of what I'm about, but I will gladly send you a more expansive example of the commercials and promos I've put together where I do all the voices and also produced it by myself.

My Voice Experience

I was a radio voice talent and on-air personality in this market from 1985-2005 before my last radio station went to satellite programming and forced me into advertising.
I still do numerous tv, cable, and radio spots for my agency and voice over projects for various departments at Purdue University.

My Training

4 years in the Telecommunications program for Purdue University.
National Public Radio training with WBAA on campus while attending school.
Various campus stations during my four years.
3 radio stations in the same market over a period of 20 years beginning in May of 1985.
Local working musician and actor on past Civic Theater productions.

I won't slur through your copy. My enunciation is spot-on. And I make it all sound sincere whatever the product is I'm trying to sell the listener/viewer.
