My Voice Experience

Kat Valentine King started working in radio in 1992, and immediately began voicing commercials and imaging for the stations. Her warm, sultry, friendly voice is wonderfully suited to many different types of voice over, and with over twelve years' experience, she brings a smart, businesslike and professional attitude to her work, whether it is a commercial for TV or radio, an interactive media project, or an educational narrative piece.

Kat started recording commercials at Jacor Broadcasting while still a college student, and quickly moved into an on-air position at KTCL-FM, where she DJ'd for seven years. Since then, King Production has been turning out high-quality voiceover projects for clients in many various industries.

My Studio Equipment

I use Sound Studio recording and editing software on my MacBook, combined with an external professional USB Mic preamp and a Dynamic mic. I have access to music libraries and can also arrange additional voice and/or sound effects through several other professional engineers I have worked with over the years.

Additional Skills

In addition to doing voiceover for radio, tv, phone, online, and multimedia projects, Kat Valentine King is a published book author and freelance writer. Current publications include the Denver Post, 5280 Magazine, and others. Additional experience included web content design and management, along with promotional and marketing projects and campaigns.
