Voice Description

I can mimmick television commercial voices that are advertising medicine. I have taken 8 years of Spanish and can also mimmick on-hold messaging systems, but my native tongue is English. I can mimmick an english accent, a negro slave, a "sistah gurl". I am very good at copying the voice of the Sprint on-hold voice. I can do sort of a whiny, oriental type voice as well. I also have a great southern accent, both subtle and deep. From "sophisticated" to "bumpkin"

My Voice Experience

Most of my "experience" came from doing my own recordings for school projects in my television production courses. I also record my own answering machine message and my friends, family, and employers have all mistaken it for a recorded voice. I really loved tricking my friends into thinking I was the At&T operator with a collect call. They always fell for it. Please contact me if you are interested in speaking with me.

My Training

I was in drama for 3 years at my school and worked with a variety of different voices. I had to protray a "spry old women" and sometimes a foriegn traveler. I have also had to pretend to be a recorded message for one of the improvisations I did.

Additional Skills

I have been told time and time again and I have a great talent with my voice to not only mimmick but that I am articulate and have a wonderful grasp on the English language. I have always been interested in this type of work. I feel that my voice is one of the most powerful assets I possess. With 90% of my jobs beind in Customer Service, it has always been important for me to have a good speaking voice. I hate it when I call a company and speak with someone I can barely understand, and I always try to make sure that the person on the other end of that phone can hear me: clearly and concisely.
