I am 24 years old and have a very distinct voice. It is bold with a slight hint of an upstate NY accent. My vowels tend to be very pronounced. My voice is bubbley and cartoonish and could be used in a number of ways for a number of age groups.
For narrations its clear and articulate with a gentle side. For commercials my voice young and hip, fun-loving and friendly girl-next-door style. For voice mails or automations its clear and concise but always warm and friendly. For cartoons it can vary many was mostly wild and goofy, with funny pitchs and tones. Can do many different cartoon voices, with different accents and different tones. I can also be very serious if neccesary.

I can do annoying northeastern nasally style, I can also do the southern bell with a flirty southern twist, or the stereo-typical southern hillbilly drawl,I can do valley-girl, or serious and sweet with different variations on accent, I can do crazy, wild, out of control cartoon, I can do tough New Yorker or girl-next-door.

My Voice Experience

I grew up a wild, out-going girl with a stong and distinct voice. All throughout life I used my voice to become the center of attention and it always worked. Now that I am a little older I've used my voice in professional aspects as well. My voice has been my blessing and I want to share it with the world. I do not have any professional voice over expierence. I have a very distinct voice and have been told that my entire life. I have been acting my entire life, my voice my tool in each role I have played. I also have an extensive history in singing, in high school I part of all-state and did very well in my state Solo convention. Throughout my school-age years I had professional voice and acting coaches. In college I am minoring in broadcast journalism which I will start this fall. I have worked in the customer service industry for the past 4 years a lot of it in call centers, so voice training has been a pivotal point in that workplace enviroment. I have been told many times in my customer service expierence that I have a very distinct voice that would be perfect for acting or voice overs, so I am hoping that my talent will guide me through this industry.

My Training

I went to school at Hagerstown Community College for a degree in Liberal arts, I have done promotions for my work on local news stations. I have professional training in acting and singing. I was invited to attend the IMTA national convention for acting in 2005. I have extensive training in proper voice ettiquette in a professional workplace enviroment. I have extensive history in acting and singing locally. I am co-owner of ~ Makeshift Productions ~ a studio music production company. I am going to be minoring in broadcast journalism this fall and am also intrested in other communication fields. I can write as well.

My Studio Equipment

I have a home studio with Pro Tools Recording software as well as Creative Extigy Recording software and an Extigy interface. I also have a M-Audio DigiDesign recording interface with an M-Audio Keystation 49e and a Concertmate MG-1. I have an Alesis Master Effects processor and a Digitech RP350 Effects processor. I also a Korg padKontrol midi studio controller and a digital percussion unit.

Additional Skills

I am a responsible, dependable, go getter, given the opportunity I believe I can complete anything. I am a fun-loving, out-going young adult ready to give it all I have. I am knowledgable in many different recording software programs as well as recording hardware. I am level-headed and smart and can get the job done. Through my acting, singing, and professional history I believe I am diverse and could be extremely useful in the voice over industry.
