Voice Description
My voice is very versatile within a certain range. I especially enjoy and excel at character voices for audio books, although I can use any one in particular for any voice over project. I can do sarcastic, sweet and innocent, lisping, soft and tender, animated and lively, smooth and serious, fun and bubbly, cranky and caustic, and many various emotions with any of those. It all depends on the requirements for the character.

My Voice Experience
My interest in doing voice over work started when I was nine years old. Overcome by boredom during a long car trip, I picked up my one of my fathers business and leadership books and started reading it aloud to my family, who were conveniently held captive in the car. Despite the subject material, we all were able to endure the long travel hours much better for my reading aloud, and because of it, I started a family tradition of reading aloud on every road trip. Long hours in the car allowed me to practice endurance voice acting and to develop many different voices for different characters, as well as a talent for switching back and forth between characters smoothly and consistently. Although I havent yet had any real voice over jobs, I believe my ability to read for long hours, my passion for the art, commitment to quality and believability and enthusiasm for characters and story are all valuable assets for a voice over artist.
My Training
Ive been reading for long periods of time on road trips since I was nine, and have since recorded one full audio book on my own, and am in the process of recording another using my universitys foley lab and recording equipment. I have participated in theatre for the past seven years, in which Ive used many different voices and accents.
My Studio Equipment
Though I do not currently have my own studio, during the school year I have acces to my university's foley lab adn recording equipment.
Additional Skills
I am a college student studying film production and animation, and as such have a great love of characters and story. I have acted on stage for many years, portraying many varied characters, from comedy (from Dromio of Syracuse in Shakespeare's A Comedy of Errors to Snowbell in Stuart Little)to tragedy (such as Queen Margaret in Shakespeare's Richard III). These roles have included many different voices and accents.
One of my greatest skills as a voice over artist is my ability to perform for hours on end and to switch rapidly and consistently between character voices in the context of a storyline.
My artist's mission statement is to creatively tell something about what it means to be a human being.
